Sealing with Tape

Wire Penetrations

  • Wire Penetration of the vapour control layer is sealed using Airstop Elasto

Conduit Penetrations

  • Conduit penetration of the vapour control layer is sealed with Airstop Elasto
Conduit penetrating Airstop Timbertex  sealed with Airstop Elasto
Conduit sealed to FH Forte usinfg Airstop Elasto

Sealing Inside Conduits.

  • Conduits can be sealed airtight using Airstop Jointpaste. Note: The end of the conduit should be filled with 20-30mm of Airstop Jointpaste

Conduit Penetrations

  • Conduit penetration is sealed with Airstop Butyl Stretch Flex

Pipe Penetrations

Pipe penetrations of the vapour control layer is sealed using Airstop Elasto. 

Socket Penetrations

  • Electrical Box is taped to the vapour control layer using Airstop Elasto

Timber Penetrations

  • Timber penetrations are sealed back to the vapour control layer using Airstop Flex or Airstop Window Tape.

Sealing with Grommets

Round Penetrations

  • Regular Penetrations can be sealed using Airstop Pipe and Cable Sleeves.
